We invite you to sit in sacred prayer with Grandmother at our sanctuary in Upstate New York. We offer weekend long retreats that are an immersive opportunity to connect with the Medicine in ceremony. This journey helps us transform through radical acceptance of our past, and unlocks our highest potential. Guided by the channel of the Medicine, we open to to the boundless love that dwells within each of us.
Your retreat includes two medicine ceremonies (optional third night available), group integration circles, one-on-one support, supplemental medicines such as Hapeh and Sananga, nutritious meals and communal accommodations. (Private Accommodations available for rent).
We will never serve more than ten participants per weekend. We believe that small groups are necessary to create a safe & powerful experience for everyone. This way, we are able to intimately connect with every guest and support their process step by step.
Retreats are supported by our ceremony leaders, Austin and Eliana, as well as three additional facilitators. Each member of our team has extensive experience with Plant Medicine, a well as unique insights to share with participants. Our team has a diverse background, ranging from Field Medicine, Yogic Studies, Therapy & Social Work. We like to have a full staff so we can support you through any circumstances that arise during your journey.
Because of the intense nature of this work, we ask that anyone interested in participating set up a sign-up call with us. This gives us the ability to ask you important medical questions, learn more about your background, and what you are hoping to gain from ceremony. As practitioners, we want to get to know you and understand how to help you along this journey. This is also an opportunity for you to ask us questions as well.
The Plant Medicine community has rapidly shifted over the years- we have noticed that many ceremonies, especially in the United States, have become larger, yet more expensive. Many people in the USA want to sit with the medicine, but struggle to come up with the resources to do so. We at Maharani Medicine want to ensure Plant Medicine stays accessible to those who need it. We strive to put our values and integrity above financial gain, so this work may live on.
We also provide scholarships & payment plans to those in need. If finances are your only block from joining us, please reach out- we want to support you.
Dig deep into the medicine path by embracing integration through community. Our integration calls provide a necessary step for our success. Our community comes together once a month, to discuss our triumphs and challenges on the Plant Medicine path. This call is open to anyone on a healing journey. Whether you have questions about ceremony, preparation or integration, or if you’d like to share your own personal story, this is a safe space to learn and grow. If you are seeking a supportive community of like-minded souls, look no further!
We also provide one-on-one Integration Support, for those who want personalized guidance.
The Lighthouse Gathering is our largest community celebration of the year. Come celebrate with a weekend full of dancing, prayer and expansion. We offer conscious workshops such as breathwork, yoga & meditation, as well as opportunities to work with Plant Medicine. Featuring live music ranging from R&B, Folk, Kirtan & Ecstatic Dance. Enjoy tasty food vendors, art exhibitions & even fire spinners! Our festival is community-led; we want the experience to feel like home. You will go home with many more friends than when you arrived! Next year’s dates are July 30-August 2, 2026.
